The ability to re-arrange one's shop

It would be great to be able to re-arrange how one's shop appears, rather than being stuck with the order in which items are listed.

We are considering adding ways for people to be able to customise their shop view and promote certain items in the future. This may be combined with offering additional ways for buyers to be able to navigate shops, such as being able to order items by title or price.

This is a real fault in Folksy and frustrating because it's available in Etsy. It is impossible to keep sections of your shop together when you make something new unless you relist constantly after working out moves like a chess game!

It would be really good to be able to re-arrange the listings in our shop, and I think it could also add to sales. I sell on etsy and I really think that being able to change things around to freshen things up has had a good impact on my sales with them - Come on Folksy give it a try!

This should be a priority - it's already available on Etsy and is a major downside to Folksy.

You should know that I (and most likely many others) make far more listings on Etsy than here on Folksy purely due to this missing feature. I am just about to list a new load of items and am dreading trying to plan in which order I shall be putting them on. It is beyond frustrating for me and as a result I will no doubt end up giving up on it half way through as usual. This means that even though I prefer this site, Etsy will get the full benefit of hosting my shop, not Folksy. It's a shame that this has now become a point of major disappointment for so many. I have friends who will not even consider listing here because of this missing feature.

WOW This has been 'under review' for a year now! WHY?! Thats just unacceptable. SORT IT OUT! You can see how many sellers think this is important. And it IS important. Make it a priority please Folksy - it cant be that hard surely?!!!

I have a lot of items in my shop and love a 'search this shop' feature, I'm sure it would increase everyones views and sales.

This is really important to me.... I need to be able to rearrange my shop. First impressions are so important. Its silly that people have a quick look and see one item made in 5 different colours.... I need to be able to move them about myself. It works for me on Etsy! Literally 5 minutes after I did this my shop had 100% more hits than before.

This is a vitally important feature - just as much as the shop banner or name. It drives me completely mental trying to plan the layout without this facility!!! I can never just spontaneously sling something on to the page so I've let it slip till recently.
And I completely agree with the person who commented on 31st Jan about the Etsy/Folksy comparison.

Please implement this soon! - I list make up bags and wash bags and a lot of them are matching sets but I can't show them next to each other!

Hope this is implemented soon, it will be lovely to be able to rearrange items.

Please, please, Folksy, do this quick! Just relisted a whole bunch of things that didn't need relisting yet, just so they would be at the front of my shop.

I have only just joined and having listed a few items realised that I cannot arrange things as I would like. I think this needs attending to urgently.

Same OCD as daisycrazy! Really need to be able to organise our displays like a good department store would. I would prefer it looked less like a disorganised jumble sale.

Please Folksy add this feature, I get a little ocd about the way my items appear :)

I am amazed, nay gobsmacked that something so necessary and wanted by sellers has been under review since last April. Only a few more weeks and we'll be wishing it a Happy birthday!

      • AnonymousAnonymous commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Please add this feature. It really works for me on my etsy site, and this has been under review for some time now. Thankyou x

Not being able to re-arrange items in one's shop is desperately frustrating...I can't think of a reason why this has not been attended to immediately considering all the calls for it?
I came to Folksy (after Etsy) in order to get more British viewers, I would prefer to give my money to Folksy rather than Etsy, but I will continue to use them as currently their features are more useful.

Would you please note my shop is called frabjoustings and not frabjous (a name I wanted in the first place but someone had got there first) in case anyone cares to take a look and see what I mean by arranging a shop.
