Please will Folksy concentrate on their core business. Selling
Folksy seem to be losing their way. We sellers are here to showcase and sell our beautiful work. Folksy is supposed to be a selling platform and up to the last few days was just that but appears to be directing its attention to diversifying into an online arts and craft exhibition.
Please listen to your sellers who are struggling after the recent changes you made which has added a most unwelcome cloak of invisibilty to us. I've been here 14 years and as far as I can see no more people outside Folksy have heard of Folksy than had heard of it in 2009.
Please divert the effort you are putting into diversifying back into promoting your sellers and products..... before it is tooooo late.

One of the bigger issues is SEO. Over 50% of people search on a mobile phone and most of the clicks go to image searches.
Alt tagging of images is vital for Google et al to search and we are not able to alt tag or use image descriptions.
Folksy rarely come back on Google search. -

Totally agree, this is a selling site not Create & Craft.
We need videos in the listings as on Etsy.
More advertising not in craft magazines as again copying springs to mind. -

Completely agree. This is a site dedicated to the selling of finished products. It is not a site for providing customers with free education to make their own.
Serious attention to an advertising and promotions strategy is desperately needed to bring customers to this site for the purpose of purchasing the finished handmade products available.
