My Plus account is about to expire, how do I renew?

The payment integration with GoCardless for the Plus account changed in early 2018 from a single payment to a recurring Direct Debit. 

This article is about an issue which affects sellers who upgraded to Plus or last renewed their Plus account before the change to recurring payments. These sellers can only renew once their existing Plus account has expired.

The link to renew my Plus account doesn't work
If your Plus account is set to expire soon you may have received a reminder email including a link to renew, which takes you to a page where there is no option to renew. Or you may see that your Plus account is due to expire soon but you can't see how to renew.

How do I renew?
You can check the status of your Plus account and its expiry date here and, once the account has expired, you will see a renewal button:

Payment for the Plus account is now by subscription to a recurring Direct Debit of £5 per month until you cancel. More info here

Can I still pay annually?
No, sorry. The annual option has now been retired. More info here

What if my Plus account expires?
Please don't worry if your Plus account expires and you leave it expired for any length of time - your shop itself won't expire, and your listings will still be available to buy. The only thing that will happen is that you will be charged for any listings you make after your Plus account expires. So, just remember to renew before you list any items after the expiry time!
