Have an easy way to embed your Folksy shop in another website
I'm not sure if this option exists. I've seen on Etsy that they do a mini-widget thing that will display a few of your listed items on your blog/website. I will soon be creating a website for a new venture selling craft items, which i would also like to list on Folksy to increase product views. What would be really good would be to simply list everything on Folksy once, and for this information to automatically be updated on my website. And for it to look like a proper shop rather than just a little widget like the Etsy option. It's great that the Facebook shop option exists, but I think there needs to be one that is easy to use on other websites. I think if this existed i'd definitely use Folksy to do all my listings, otherwise I'll have to find another way of listing all my products.

We have created a widget for use on websites/blogs. You will find a ‘widgets’ link on the left hand side of your dashboard. You can select from a number of different sizes and it works with most blogs except wordpress.com, where iframes are specifically disallowed. I would really like to embed my Folksy shop into my website rather than having a link. At the moment I have an Etsy shop embedded so when you click on the shop menu you can see everything without leaving my website. It works very well but would prefer that traffic to be directed to Folksy. I am wondering if Folksy have any plans to release the API so this would be possible?

I agree we do need an app, in the meantime I have copy/pasted the folksy logo image & added the html link to my homemade folksy button linking it straight to my folksy shop from my sales page

I would really like this function. I use the Etsy widget on my website which shows pictures of my items in the side bar whearas for folksy a picture says 'find me on folksy' I would rather support Folksy and this would certainly help.

I have just been looking to see if I can find a widget so I can put my shop on my website! Such a shame as I was thinking of stopping my Etsy shop for folksy. Hope this is something we can do very soon!

I asked Folksy about this over a year ago, Hannah, and they said they had no plans in the foreseeable future. However, if we keep on at them, maybe we'll get something eventually.
I'm in exactly the same situation as you, and it would be so much easier to be able to embed it into our websites. More traffic for Folksy.com, more sales for us!
I gave this suggestion 3 votes because I truly believe it is a worthwhile feature to add.
