Photo's turning Side Ways - BUG - Sort it. It's not the uploader, it's the website!
Hi. could some one please sort this bug. My images are taken with a normal camera. I remember i had this issue 2 months back and stopped using folksy. So I've worked out the bug for you so please fix it as it's wasting not just my time others.
Right, from what i gather it's due to the pixels, especially if you have long photos for example px w300 and hight 1000px
It will turn the photo side ways!
So to correct this, crop the photo until you get a more or less even square size at - 500px x 500px
I've tested and this works in chrome. So Folksy i would appreciated if you take a look the coding or java which is causing this website related bug.

This bug is really annoying me too! Not only is it affecting what I'm trying to upload at the moment but I notice that my profile picture, which used to be the right way round, is now on its side as well!

Did anyone every have a solution to this. I added my photos a while ago. When I re-listed most of them the photos went sideways. The photos were fine the first time and they are not very big. They were added on a normal computer. I have tried to reload from the original photo but they still go sideways. All my photos are around 448px X336px. It will take me hours to take the photos again and reload them

I too have to agree. Uploaded some photos from my ipad, the photos were fine, when I went to relist them, they were all sideways. It does seem to change though. I uploaded mine about 10 days ago and have not had a chance to correct them, however one time they are on their side and the next they are not. I only ever use my ipad or iPhone. I'm at a complete loss with it.
Sort it out Folksy! -

I have to agree I'm afraid!
I find that photos appear to be sideways when I have loaded them from my ipad, and later view my shop on my laptop. It's certainly not consistent - and it really shouldn't matter what device you use to load things up.
It's really annoying and time consuming putting it right though. I've just tried resaving the photos on my laptop and turning them clockwise on turn, for one of my items, which I had previously loaded up from my ipad. However they must be a smaller size on the website and they now look really blurry.
