Is it fair for pro sellers to constantly list their items so they are in top 40?
Is it fair for pro sellers to constantly list their existing items in their shop so they get seen when people come to folksy. I have noticed a lot of jewellery its same sellers who are constantly on front pages when i log into jewellery (as i sell jewellery) so they must constantly relist.
This is not fair in my opinion as they then appear in the top 40 each day and general public look at best sellers and go to those shops so they get an unfair advantage over others who are not constantly on computer putting in their items in categories so they appear on front.
I am a pro seller but never put 30 to 50 items a day as relists. I thought whole point of pro seller was ability to list more NEW items and occasionally relist some older ones to rearrange shop.
I think relists should be limited to 10 per day to stop this unless its supplies items.

I'd prefer there to be a limit on the number of items a shop can relist per day. I used to love looking at the recently listed page and often bought items on impulse that I saw there, but it gets very boring when there are big blocks of items all from the same shop so it puts me off looking.

I agree with a limit, everytime I log on its the same shops. I'm only a small shop but I never seem to get a look in let alone find myself on the front page even for a second.

I like to use this feature to re-organise my shop which may mean that on occasion I end up re-listing everything. Only being able to relist 10 items a day would be a real pain. £30 (soon to be £45) is quite a lot of money for me to fork out as I personally do not make a profit from selling my cards as the money goes to charity. If this feature was removed then I'd seriously have to reconsider renewing or perhaps move to a different selling platform.

I am perfectly happy for there to be an upper limit - this would allow for some relisting without excessively saturating pages. The plus account is still worth it for a limited relisting and unlimited new listings facility.

we’re all here for different reasons, and use the site in different (yet allowable) ways. As long as we’re going by folksy’s rules, let’s just live and let live. folksy is a selling venue – let’s all get on with doing what we do to sell our wares.

I agree-maybe 20 relists each day, that's still a fair amount and you could relist a handful of items 4 times a day if you wanted to keep up regular views

I agree. Although in principle I think sellers should be able to promote as they want, some catagories are looking boring and the same everyday for shoppers. I think this mass relisting is bad for the site so a limit is needed.

As a pro seller account user I'm in complete agreement we should have a limit to how many items we can relist in any given 24hour period. It will still mean we get a good service for our payment.
