When we receive a message, we need to see the item being reffered to.
I find it very frustrating when receiving messages, that I cannot see the "exact" item being referred to. Also, I would like to be able to see the message as I write my reply, so I can see the senders name and any requests while I compile a reply. It would also be useful to be able to send a link to my shop items in messages and to show photographs. This would also keep the prospective buyer inside Folksy, otherwise I have to ask for them to email me, so I can show photos and links, Sue

How do we know which item the person is messaging about? Do I know have to say I don't know which ones you are talking about and wait for a reply???
This makes my look silly!
The message I have just received is talking about 3 items and needs the ASAP! -

I agree with this. It would be helpful if, when a customer clicks on "Contact the Designer" from within a specific item listing, the link to that item was copied into the body text of the message - then the seller could immediately find out which item the customer was talking about. It must be amazingly frustrating for sellers who have a large volume of items, which could all be "the one the customer means" - eg. all earrings, all flowers etc - when they have no link to the item that is the subject of an enquiry.
Also, couldn't we have a Message Trail of some kind? In other words, when a set of messages go to-and-fro, starting with an initial enquiry etc, could the messages be linked together, so they can all be followed, one after the other? I've been talking with a customer, about a possible order. We've exchanged five messages and already it's becoming tricky to keep track.
I am having to copy/paste each one, into a notepad document, just to avoid missing something.
If the messages were all linked, then I could avoid this issue. I can't imagine what it would be like for a seller with a much higher volume of items / sales / enquiries! Please may we have these tweaks to the Message system, to make it more Customer and Seller Friendly?
Thanks!
