The ability to cancel an order immediately instead of waiting 24 hours
Having had 3 non paying buyers in little more than a week I find the most annoying thing is having to wait 24 hours to cancel the order. In my experience if a customer intends to pay for an item they either will straight away or they will email to say they're having difficulties, if neither happens then usually the customer has either bought the item by accident and had no intention of purchasing or they've simply changed their mind after committing to buy.
I'm not one for sending chasing emails to customers to goad them into paying for something and would rather just cancel the order straight away and if they want to come back and purchase the item at a later time or date they're perfectly free to do so.
I have the plus account so at the minute if I have a non paying buyer I usually just give it an hour and relist the item, remembering to reduce the stock levels again once I've cancelled the order the next day but it would be so much simpler if I could just cancel straight away and avoid having an item unnecessarily out of stock in the first place. Having an item out of stock for 24 hours is about 23.5 hours too long in my opinion.
Thanks.

Sellers can now cancel unpaid orders immediately. We still recommend contacting the buyer first, unless the order has clearly been made in error.

I prefer this to the "no removal from shop until paid" idea. I have had several "non-payers" recently, and all but one have responded positively to my polite and friendly email, resulting in a sale. I'm quite happy that it should be up to the individual seller to decide whether to risk losing a sale, but I prefer to give my customers the benefit of the doubt.

I email the customer straight away I see it is unpaid, it really winds me up. This doesnt happen on any other site. I think it looks unprofessional and cheapens the site its an ebay style buy now but pay later. The fact the item that has been paid to be listed is out of your shop for 24 hours when it could have been potentially purchased by someone else is so annoying , frustrating and exasperating. In my opinion this is one of the worse features of Folksy.

I totally agree.
This only happens on folksy and I get it at least twice a month, only once has the customer contacted me with a query.
I don't chase either, I wait the 24 hours then hit cancel.
