    I would agree with this, a phone call is often the easiest and quickest way to resolve any issues such as problems during checkout or getting information regarding custom or personalised orders, however I also appreciate that some customers buy online for various reasons and some may find a phone call intrusive or unwelcome so I do think that completion of any field asking for a phone number should be optional and not compulsory in order to purchase.
