Perhaps we should think about the customer experience here - as a customer (buyer) I expect that the items shown as 'new' are actually new, not renewals. That applies however often the seller has renewed - at the end of 3months, or daily. Showing renewals here misleads customers and makes it harder for them to see new items, and as sellers (another type of customer) the fact that some other sellers with plus accounts and more time than us can take advantage of this to push in is very frustrating. If we want Folksy to be a great place to sell the buyers need to have a good experience, and enjoy popping in to look at new items - pages of the same renewals isn't going to achieve that.

There is a 'kits' section under handmade and under commercial in supplies (although while we are on the subject I hate the title commercial)!

We are currently creating an API for Folksy listings which will allow us to launch an app for sellers. Sellers would then be able to use this on their mobile devices and tablets to list and manage their Folksy orders on Folksy. At this stage the app will be for sellers rather than customers, but all the development work we are doing on Folksy is now in an app-friendly format so that it can be used by app technology in the future.

You can now add Folksy listings to your Facebook page by creating a catalogue on Facebook. We have set up a new data feed page to make this easier. Just add .rss to your whole shop URL (eg https://folksy.com/shops/claregetscrafty.rss) and follow the instructions here https://www.facebook.com/business/help/384041892421495?id=725943027795860

I'm not clear whether people want a buyers app, or a sellers app, or both? As a buyer, what does an app offer you that a mobile optimised site (which Folksy have) doesn't? Or is it that the seller element isn't mobile optimised and is very tricky to use on a mobile? I don't have a view personally by the way, and there is a view that apps, once downloaded drive loyalty in buyers, but you do need to get that all important download.......
