Clicking the 'back' button & it taking you to the exact spot where you were previously browsing.
Unsure if this is a common problem but when I am browsing a category and click on an item to view, when I click the back button to carry on browsing it takes me back to the top of the page/category again.
It would be useful to be able to be taken back to the same place on the page that you were previously looking at, especially when you are quite far through the category.
We have replaced ‘view more’ (endless scroll) with pagination on category pages. This update should have resolved this issue.

I go beyond the first page (HONESTLY!!!) cause I'm on the hunt for a particular item, and it's not fair on the designers who haven't put items on recently. This issue means that less items are getting viewed and therefore, less items sold, resulting in YOU FOLKSY, getting less money from the items that are sold. So your shooting yourself in the foot aren't you.

This is a big problem, it's extremely off-putting to the point where i got fed up with it and purchased the item i was looking for from another website. I'm a seamstress and was looking to set up a folksy account but this has made me think twice about it. Please fix this problem!. x

Totally agree that this is a real irritation, and a disincentive to look further.
Totally DISagree with the Admin comment below. I think lots of folks go beyond the first page to find what they're looking for... this isn't Google. If I find something that I want to look at closer, I need to be able to do that... and then go back to where I was, not to the beginning of an increasingly long trawl through the pages I've already seen. On ebay, if I put something in my Basket, then hit the Back button... I not only go back to the right page, but even to the place where I was on that page.

I agree, and would 'optimise' going back because it really does stop me clicking on images to see more. I just potter on trying to decide from teeny images which one really might be worthy of a click that will ulimately end my browsing because when I get back to the start I really can't be bothered to go forward again!

"(who ever goes beyond the first page, honestly?)"
I do! I don't have the same data that you have access too (obviously) however is the quote above really as clear cut as it seems?
I come to Folksy to browse and shop, I don't sell here. I cannot describe to you how irritating it is to get to page three and forget to right click, open in new tab. I refuse to go back and scroll through all that info again and I realise it is only three pages!

Hi folksy
I agree with the other comments. this is the only bit of the changes made which I really feel makes the site less user friendly. Wilst i understand (and like) the way the new page works I do think the going back to the start is a bit soul destroying for buyers. If we can't go back to pagination then is there another solution, such as shortlisting the items we like? -

I agree, I was very far into the pages, clicked on a design to have a better look, then got returned to the beginning. Whereas this might be beneficial for the designers on the first page, they get plenty of viewing, it isn't for those on page 30. In the end I didn't bother. I think this is a problem to be fixed.

We know this is irritating. However, it's a trade off between pagination (who ever goes beyond the first page, honestly?) which tends to perform badly but does let you go back to the 'page' you were on or "show more" which is more effective at driving visibility of more items, but performs badly when people go back.
What do you optimise for - going forward or back?

I had the same problem, helpdesk said it was to do with my browser, but I don't have the issue on any other site. Think this would be very off putting for possible customers :(
