I'd love this too. I reply as quickly as possible too, but rarely get a response, so I fear I end up in the spam folder like above.
It would also be a lot easier to keep track of conversations and requests if they were tied to the user on Folksy.

I think dropping the collection images is a good idea and maybe the easiest solution?
Having it as text gets rid of the need to have multiples of 6 categories to make it look nice and the sooner the page gets to the actual listings the better in my opinion. :o)
Not too keen on the rainbow scallop either. It is right in the middle of what should be the shop's own design/colours. Perhaps have something like that in the right hand column?
I agree. I get them daily and would love to opt out.
Such a heart breaker the first couple of times since a mail with [folksy] in the topic before meant a sale.
