Feedback left v Feedback %
Currently feedback is shown as the amount of feedback and a percentage. When the amount of feedback doesn't match the amount of sales, it does rather suggest that people weren't happy but declined to leave negative or neutral feedback.
So I suggest that the box should show Items Sold and feedback % only. Eg:
Items sold: 100
Feedback: 100% positive
Though still make it clickable so people can go and see what feedback has been left.121 votes -
Can we have the option of 'free postage' if collected in person.
Lots of my friends want to buy my items but don't want to pay postage as they can collect. Can there be an option for free postage if the buyer can collect. That way I can sell all my items through Folksy.

'Copy Listing' directly from listing page
It would save loads of time if we could 'copy' an image the same way we can 'edit' an image directly from the items page within our shops. It's a faff to find the listing in the dashboard lists and select copy from there - takes ages!

Search for producers by location
If I wanted to buy local to where I live is there a way of searching for local producers or is it a option you could add?

Password change suggestion
Could Folksy provide a "confirm new password" or a "show " icon when a new password is made?
It's too easy to make a new word, misspell it, not be able to check it then drive yourself crazy retyping it.
I know there's a link for a forgotten password; that's fine if you also remember you've changed you email details!1 vote -
Ability to add a personalised message onto the Folksy invoice...
As there's quite a big blank space at the bottom of the printable invoices, and to save paper, just thought it would be a nice idea to be able to add a personalised message to the buyer...just like you're able to on Paypal.
Whaddya think?

Offer buyers a choice of 1st or 2nd class postage
With Royal Mail putting up the price of stamps again (grr!) it would be good to be able to offer a choice of cheaper or faster postage depending on the buyer's needs.
133 votesThis is a nice idea. The full range of postage options (1st class, 2nd class, signed-for, recorded delivery, personal collection, etc) might be a little tricky to design for though, not to mention more complicated for buyers.
We’ll have a think though and will consider what might work best.
Many thanks,
Frankie

Introducing Subsections in a shop
It would seem sensible to have the ability to add subsections to a shop i.e. if you clicked on one of the sections on the LHS a drop down list would appear giving the potential purchaser the opportunity to further narrow their choice.
e.g. I sell a number of different photo related items such as greetings cards, fine art prints, iphone cases, mugs etc which are listed as Sections. But it would be very useful if they could be further subdivided into Subsections such as Landscape, Still life, Animals, Abstract etc15 votes -
The ability for sellers to purchase search ads to help promote their products.
Sellers would pay £3/£5/£10 etc depending how many impressions they would like to make. The more you pay the more impressions you get. Could have a 'sponsored' section which would list those products in preferential top position on page.

Character count for descriptions.
As we are limited to 1500 characters for our descriptions it would make writing them much easier if we had a built in counter which would tell us how many characters we have remaining. It's a waste of time to have to copy and paste the descriptions into a word-processing document to edit it's length.

Please, could we have a 'Save as Draft' option?
I'm currently setting up a new Folksy shop and have tried to put several listings as Drafts ready to list them when I'm ready. When you preview a listing your only options are to 'make changes' or 'list item'. If you just abandon it and click back to your dashboard it saves it as a draft. That's fine, it works but it seems a bit hit and miss. Plus you then need to navigate through 'manage listings', find 'Draft items' to start another.

Thank you.

Text messages sent when you sell something
Text messages sent to your phone when you sell an item or get a message on folksy, this would improve speed of sales, and also if you buy something you could then get gentle text reminders if you do not pay / leave feedback within reasonable time. This could be a feature CHOSEN by the folksy sellers as some sellers may not want this features.

Collection Descriptions
It would be great if there could be a format where we could add a description at the top of each Collection page.

Collections Menu at the side on product pages
It would be really great if there could be a side menu of our collections when customers click on individual product pages. It would make navigation much easier for them, as they could go back into the collection they were in to look at more products, or switch categories. It saves them time when ordering multiple items, and makes our stores much more user friendly.

Shopkeeping
Please please can we have the Shopkeeping page on separate pages (like the listings page). I have over 900 items and my ipad crashes when I try to load the page to move my newest listings to the top. Alternatively why on earth aren't the newest items automatically shown first anyway!!

Misleading "Search" button
Last year a shop which wanted to sell my items decided not to do so because they couldn't find my shop on Folksy. They presumably thought that my business card could not be trusted and therefore neither could I!
It appears that this is because the search box does not make it clear that you can change it from searching for items to searching for shops.
I doubt if I am alone in this experience and of all the websites I use Folksy has the least user-friendly search box.
My experience of human nature is that very few people persevere…

streamline the relisting
Stream-line the relisting process
Currently, to relist your items you have to resort the items by the date, then click on all of the items, then relist, then wait for the next page to load - to then click confirm relist and then finally, it is relisted. Then you have to do the same thing over and over.
Please can we stream line the process so we dont have to click, I would love if the confirm page could be removed or if there was a "Relist all" option so we dont have to go page by page to relist.

New Category / Sub Section: DIY Kits
Hi there,
I would love if we could have a DIY Kits section. All of us that sell on Folksy are crafters and interested in craft so it makes sense to have a craft making section! I would love to buy DIY kits however I find it difficult to search for them as they get mixed up with ready made items. This subsection would also help when listing as it differentiates your kit from being a piece of jewellery etc.
