Adjustable thumbnail images
It's not always possible to crop an image to be square. So it would be great if you could allow us to move/resize the thumbnail, so that if the item is not exactly in the centre of your image or it's not possible to make the image square, you can adjust the thumbnail so that it doesn't look badly cropped and messy.
Currently I'm having to constantly re-crop my image to try and make sure the thumbnail is centered which is very fiddly. Shop images don't need to be square so seems weird the thumbnail is a forced, un-customisable crop…17 votes -
Shop collection photos in square format
Whilst we all strive to achieve better photos why is it that throughout Folksy "square" format photos work best whilst those associated with our shop collections are in a rectangular format and therefore often have detail cropped from them. Please could these be changed to square format so that the shop front doesn't look careless and sloppy!

Folksy to run an ad, print, tv campaign
Hi there,
Although not a direct feature for folksy users, it would improve folksy life! I've seen etsy advertised online, over the radio, on tv, in magazines, blogs etc. I would love to see Folksy make a commitment to advertising themselves, in turn helping sellers to reach more audiences.13 votes -
Set my own processing times for made-to-order items
21 days is not enough time for me to process some made-to-order items so I use other sites to offer these "high end" products to my customers. I'd like to set my own timescales on Folksy please.

Ability to de-activate item straight from Item listing
I list some of my items on more than one site - if I sell on another site I have to spend quite a long time scrolling through my 190 or so listings to find the item I want to de-activate. I'd love to be able to make changes straight from the item listing by way of a Deactivate button or even through the current Edit button by reducing stock to zero. Thanks!

Thumbnails link to actual items?
I've found it frustrating when shopping that I'll see something interesting on the front page, or as a thumbnail for a category, and then when I click on it it takes me to a page of related listings but not the one in the image (unless I scroll through a couple of pages - sometimes it's not there at all!)
Is there a way to make sure that if an item is used as a thumbnail/tease image that it actually appears in the page that that click leads you to?

Unavailable on holiday is not the same as out of stock
When I was on holiday I received this message
"We have been looking for some time and saw your kingfisher suncatcher but disappointed to see it is unavailble. Will you be making anymore as we would like 2 please"I wrote back to say that it was unavailable as i was on holiday not because i hadn't got one.
It struck me that a lot of customers would simply walk away and not bother if they saw that message. Fortunately i responded and in a couple of weeks will be selling 2 on here.

Search function in my listings
It would be great to be able to search my own listings, since it can be quite hare to find an item that I need to remove if it has been sold elsewhere or to copy it for a new similar listing.
This could also be solved by giving us a 'copy' and a 'hide' button on the item page next to the 'edit' button.

Enable buyers to instantly download digital purchases. I.e. for PDF sewing & knitting patterns
I sell e-patterns and would like to be able to upload them to each listing so a buyer can instantly download it once purchased to save me having to email it for every sale.
A category for PDF downloads would be great, its vastly becomming the preferred option for buyers of sewing patterns and other websites are offering this. It could cover a wide range of tutorials such as crafts, arts and digital supplies.106 votes -
Hyperlinks
Please could we have the ability to post hyperlinks to other listings in our descriptive text. For example - blue cushion cover . I have a matching red one which makes up a pair (hyperlink to that listing ). I think this would be a really useful additional tool to help promote our items.

photo adjustment and catagory creation for own shop and shipping policy
Hi, I am very new to Folksy , and hoping Folksy will do great in future, and very impressed by the website setting, but i do have few problems would love to communicate with the Admin, 1 , most of my photo of from my list is up side down for some reason , i could not change the direction.

Shop Stats
Is it possible to make the shop or item views clearer, something along the lines of Etsy?? With the current Folksy system I find it difficult to tell how many views I've had per item per day. I have set up Google analytics but do not find that particularly helpful, not very user friendly nor intuitive. Cheers.

Shopkeeping ....
Please can any items that have NOT been catagorised please appear at the top of the page and not at the bottom when listing a new item or anywhere when listing a copied listing!

Download your shop orders to help with accounts
I'd like to be able to download a csv file of my sales so that I can add them into my accounts package or spreadsheets in one go, rather than having to do it all manually.

Show that you've reduced a price
It would be good if you could show a price reduction when you have a sale i.e. was £15 now £10 with the £15 crossed through so the buyers can see that you have actually reduced it as opposed to just saying that you have.

Ability to see price in "listed items" (Seller Dash > Manange Listings) list
I would love it if the "listed items" list showed prices and possibly postage too. I often want to refer to the price of an item for another listing or for a customer enquiry elsewhere and it is a pain to have to go right into the product listing to get its price/postage.

Collections Images
With the all new shop face (LOVE LOVE LOVE it by the way!!) please can we have the ability to upload collection images.
I've set my shop (currently) with 18 collections and all of my items are in at least 2 of them. I've just tried to make it so each category has a different style and colour of glass work so it show a wide selection of the pieces I make so it looks inviting.
