  1. streamline the relisting

    Stream-line the relisting process

    Currently, to relist your items you have to resort the items by the date, then click on all of the items, then relist, then wait for the next page to load - to then click confirm relist and then finally, it is relisted. Then you have to do the same thing over and over.

    Please can we stream line the process so we dont have to click, I would love if the confirm page could be removed or if there was a "Relist all" option so we dont have to go page by page to relist.

  2. Please can we have a change of policy?

    Instead of sellers having to get hot under the collar when a new shop infringes Folksy's terms and conditions of what can be sold, wouldn't it be easier if new shops were vetted by Folksy before they were published. It would save a lot of trouble, use of the report button (does it work?) and mildly annoyed emails when we spot these things.   3. I would like the customer to be able to see how many time an item has been re listed.

    When customers look at things in Folksy shops they have no indication how long ago the item was made. People want to have the newest and freshest ideas and not 'old' stock, that may be looking a bit tired.
    This can only improve the reputation of Folksy for having wonderful new inventive ideas, keep Folksy shopkeepers refreshing their stocks regularly and have contented customers who are not disappointed with what they receive through the post, which is bought, don't forget after only seeing a photo.

    I think it's better to get something that is better than you expected than less…

  5. Option for Gift Receipt

    I'd like the option to be able to print a gift receipt. A customer asked me to send their purchase direct to their friend as a gift, and wanted me to include a gift receipt without the price.
    This isn't possible at present and it seems to me to be something that we should be able to do. It is common practice elsewhere and a lot of people buy things as gifts.

  7. Targeted discount codes - BOGOF and multi purchase options?

    Can we have the option for targeted discounts rather than discounts applying to the whole of a store.
    The ability to tag individual listings would be an easy fix and would be quicker and more professional than editing listings with separate write downs etc.

    Folksy should also implement codes for BOGOF and multi purchase discounts.

    As I'm a maker of sketchbooks and other various handbound books they don't quite fit into any category on the website yet (my mini's arent scrapbooks or stationary either). Im sure other things from other makers don't fit into the categories that are on the site either? The previous idea on more categories didn't seem to get solved, only having "collections" on your shop changed.   9. folksy.it short links available to us for twitter/fb etc.

    I'd love to have access to the folksy.it short links for my product listings, as I think it's great to let people know on twitter and fb what they are clicking on without using a massive untidy looking link.

    I know fb previews links, but often I want to actually upload a photo of the product and put the link in the photo description as this looks bigger and better than linking directly to an item on fb.

  10. sold items - multiple items not showing.

    Would it be possible to show multiples of items sold please - at the moment if lots of people buy the same item, only the latest sale shows. Therefore it looks like you only ever sell one of each type of item.

  14. Sub category for felted items

    I never know where to put my needle felted sculptures. I know there are sections for textile art and ornaments etc, but I think there are probably enough felting artists around now (both wet felting and needle felting) to warrant a sub category somewhere. Thanks.

  15. Collections Menu at the side on product pages

    It would be really great if there could be a side menu of our collections when customers click on individual product pages. It would make navigation much easier for them, as they could go back into the collection they were in to look at more products, or switch categories. It saves them time when ordering multiple items, and makes our stores much more user friendly.

  16. Being able to search completed (already sold) listings.

    This is something that eBay has which is a good way of looking at what prices similar things to yours have sold at, so you can price your item reasonably for the buyer and you don't have to hang around for ages before realising your item is priced too expensively. Also good for buyers to find out what's a reasonable price.

  17. When listing an item sellers are required to put in a date when it was made.

    I click the blank space at the top of the month column and put in the year. When the item is added to my shop the month shown is January.
    WHY IS THE BLANK SPACE THERE IF IT IS NOT AN OPTION NOT HAVE A MONTH?

    Any one else frustrated by this?

  18. Making more of commissions being non-returnable

    I've recently had a nasty experience with commissions being returned as unsuitable. I've been with Folksy over 4 years and done several commissions and never had them returned and in my trusting way, I changed what I'd made and ended up refunding the buyer. I wasn't aware of the no return clause, having not needed it,but this has ended up costing me two lots of postage,though the items are now relisted, plus the time to make.
    I'd like the no return of commissions to be emphasised more,because my only commissions have just been from the ready-made pieces asking for alternative…

  19. Include recipient's name with address on orders please

    Please can the recipient's name be included with the address on the orders page? I have just had to refund a customer and cancel the order due to the confusion caused by the absence of a name on the parcel. The recipients' names need to be with their addresses especially as orders are sometimes sent to a third party and not always sent to the customer who has paid for the goods.
