  1. Opt out of listing expiry emails

    I appreciate that a lot of people find these new emails useful but I have loads of products and try to list/relist every day so I'm getting them all the time. Please let us opt out of these emails. My inbox fills up quickly enough as it is!

  2. How do I sell jewellery sets?

    I want to sell a matching set of jewellery (necklace, earrings and bracelet), but only seem to be able to select individual categories. Is it possible to group them all together and sell as a set?

  3. Option for Gift Receipt

    I'd like the option to be able to print a gift receipt. A customer asked me to send their purchase direct to their friend as a gift, and wanted me to include a gift receipt without the price.
    This isn't possible at present and it seems to me to be something that we should be able to do. It is common practice elsewhere and a lot of people buy things as gifts.

  4. New Category / Sub Section: DIY Kits

    Hi there,
    I would love if we could have a DIY Kits section. All of us that sell on Folksy are crafters and interested in craft so it makes sense to have a craft making section! I would love to buy DIY kits however I find it difficult to search for them as they get mixed up with ready made items.

    This subsection would also help when listing as it differentiates your kit from being a piece of jewellery etc.

  5. Larger area for description & bulk upload photos

    When listing a product can the description area be bigger so I can see all I am writing and can I upload all my 5 photos at once instead of one at a time.

    I have just joined and can add products twice as fast on my own website and three times on Esy and Eby. I love the idea of a British craft site but am dissapointed by the backend set up.

    I dont really expect to get some interest in my Folksy site untill I have at least 50 products listed but at this rate it…

  6. free shipping banner on listings

    Hi - would it be possible to have a free shipping graphic on thumbnail/main listing photographs so that customers browsing can see straight away that the price includes shipping ?

    I remember Folksy saying that offering free shipping, even if you have included it in the price, can encourage buyers.

  7. Auto drafting of half done listing page to stop loss of data

    I put info into listing and if I mistakenly move to another window for some info, a lot of the already entered info is gone, i.e. materials, colour, and photos. That must be a bug. Can we have it automatically go to draft, it would save a lot of time not having to re enter info and details.

  8. Sub category for felted items

    I never know where to put my needle felted sculptures. I know there are sections for textile art and ornaments etc, but I think there are probably enough felting artists around now (both wet felting and needle felting) to warrant a sub category somewhere. Thanks.

  9. Searchable Orders

    Sometimes I want to be able to look back at an order so the ability to search would be useful. Perhaps see if a customer has ordered from me before. Orders don’t seem to stay chronological either which doesn’t help.

  11. The ability for sellers to purchase search ads to help promote their products.

    Sellers would pay £3/£5/£10 etc depending how many impressions they would like to make. The more you pay the more impressions you get. Could have a 'sponsored' section which would list those products in preferential top position on page.

  12. Can you remove the word limit for the shop welcome, or at least increase it significantly?

    400 characters is ridiculous; if I need to add details like last posting dates or when I will be closed for craft fairs, I have to remove my current (brief) shop welcome entirely to fit it in. As it is, with my Christmas posting dates up, I don't now have any space to let people know how long I will be closed for my Christmas craft fairs. I'm sure you will point out I could add these details to my profile, but who looks there when they want to purchase an item??

  13. Ability to add a personalised message onto the Folksy invoice...

    As there's quite a big blank space at the bottom of the printable invoices, and to save paper, just thought it would be a nice idea to be able to add a personalised message to the buyer...just like you're able to on Paypal.

  14. Easier to find where to pay

    Can you make it easier to find the paypal link when paying my bill?
    Been looking for a while now and still can't find it.

    My bill says pay by paypal below, but when I scroll down there's nothing there.

  16. Fixed postage costs for postal region no matter how much or how little someone buys in your entire store.

    Items less than 2kg are all the same price for shipping to the U.K. mainland with Royal Mail. So therefore, people should be able to order what they want from the entire store and just pay the fixed price posting of 2.99 for everything. Would be great if I could apply a different fixed price posting for everything for Europe, etc.

  17. May I suggest that when listing a newly crafted Item,that the Photo upload part be after the Title ,as it helps to describe if your photo is

    Place photo upload part of listing, up near the top of the page,as when describing an item it helps to see the photo as well as the real thing.

  18. Pencils & Pens Sub-Category in Stationery Category

    I sell HB pencils, but there isn't a pencils category. My choices are Homeware > Office > Everything Else, or to hash it and do Cards & Stationery > Stationery & Bookmarks and just pick one so that people actually looking for stationery can find them.

    I feel like there should be a pencils and pens/writing implements category in Stationery. It's hard to predict what people are looking up when they're browsing categories (as opposed to searching 'pencil'). There are so many types of stationery as well, I feel like the category could be expanded.

  19. Click and Collect

    Our market manager has just sent us an article suggesting that, under the current circumstances, more and more local people would prefer to use click and collect, and then visit the store briefly to pick up their iutem rather than paying postage. Is this something Folksy could do?

  20. Add a section for Unisex jewellery

    Currently I have to decide whether to list some items as mens jewellery versus large sized womens jewellery where it is in fact suitable for both. Would be good to be able to list it as unisex.
