  1. Can we have the option of 'free postage' if collected in person.

    Lots of my friends want to buy my items but don't want to pay postage as they can collect. Can there be an option for free postage if the buyer can collect. That way I can sell all my items through Folksy.

  2. A 'Sale' or 'Special Offer' format for listings please

    I'm trying to run a 7 day promotion at the moment in my 'Spare' shop, but it's all very manual to list offer, and show discount. I'd also like to run the offer for a limited time, then revert back to full price.

    Would be lovely to have the ability to do this is a more commercial format. And also have a sale / special offer section on Folksy so users can find these discounts easily, when available. Good for customers, good for sellers.

    You can see at the moment, all I can do is add the word sale to…

  3. would be great if I could create my own wish list that family and friends could access.

    To be able to save favourite items into a wish list that others can view and buy from would be great.

  5. Conditional Discount Codes

    It will greatly increase sales to have conditional discount codes for our shops. At present the only type of discount code functionality is a whole-of-order flat rate discount which is unsuitable for running specific promotions.

    It's far better to have conditional codes for specific campaigns, a few examples:

    • x% off items in a specific shop category
    • "three for two" pricing
    • BOGOF
    • x% off when you buy x number or more items
    • spend £x or more and get x% off

    There are lots of variations that can be created for specific discounts all of which will encourage more sales.

  6. Made to order......

    Hi, I don't know if I am the only seller this effects but most of my items are made to order. Is it possible that under date made input area we could have a drop down for not yet made or made to order please.

    At the moment I stress as much as I can in my listing text and upon first contact with my customers that their items will be made once I have received their orders but would love to have the 'date made' input field accurate for my way of working.

  7. Notifications when new reviews have been left

    Please can we have some kind of notification when new reviews have been posted on our shops. could it possibly be added to shop stats, or shop activity? Or an email notification? Thanks

  8. Show that you've reduced a price

    It would be good if you could show a price reduction when you have a sale i.e. was £15 now £10 with the £15 crossed through so the buyers can see that you have actually reduced it as opposed to just saying that you have.

  9. Make Shop Name an automatic extra tag on all listings in a shop

    My daughter was looking for something in my shop the other day and observed it is a shame there is no facility to search for things within a specific shop. She is quite right.
    Ok if you have a shop with limited stock but my shop is heaving with things and there's an awful lot of pages to get through if the thing you want is on the last page.
    I did suggest that if she had added Joysofglass to her search term it might have helped as I very often add it as a tag.

    I had an enquiry from a buyer through Folksy las week wanting to know if I could supply an item that she thought was the perfect item in time for an anniversary gift. I replied immediately. And was surprised that someone so keen did not come back so I emailed another 2 times .....apologising in case she had changed her mind and wondering if my reply had arrived.
    She replied yesterday saying that she had only just seen my reply in her spam folder........she thought I had not replied and had bought elsewhere.

  11. I would like to see different lists for 'just listed' (new items) and 're listed' (re listed or expired items)

    People will bulk re list because they can on the folksy plus plan, if the public could see only new items 'just listed' it would be fairer for the sellers who a) don't list very much b) don't bulk re list on principal and give a more realistic view of the site to purchasers.

    In this way constantly seeing the same things over and over could be avoided which would make the Folksy home page much more interesting.

  12. Woodturning and Crochet

    Hi,

    My husband has a woodturning site, but has to sprea all his items around.Please can you at least ass a "WOOD" items category.

    I sell crochet items and am totally frustrated that there is a "KNITTING" category which I have to put my items in and not a "CROCHET" category.

    Please can you add these categories as there are a lot of us that are in need of them and would help us promote our items to the right people.

  13. Please can we have the option of editing an item before relisting it.

    At the moment, the only option is to list, then quickly edit or mark as 'out of stock' to edit.I think this option means that your item temporarily appearing in the recently listed category (possibly on front page too)-I'm too busy quickly editing to find this out for sure!!
    Not good if your relist needs updating photo's/prices/spelling mistakes.

  14. Ability to add tracking number to order/dispatch emails

    Hi all

    I send high value items and always use a tracked service.
    I think it would be really useful if when marking an item as shipped, i could also add the tracking reference.

    I understand that I can email the customer with this info, but it would be great if that info was in their dispatch email/folksy account.

  16. Set my own processing times for made-to-order items

    21 days is not enough time for me to process some made-to-order items so I use other sites to offer these "high end" products to my customers. I'd like to set my own timescales on Folksy please.

  17. Sold items on expired listings list!

    Some of my listing have started to expire, whilst browsing my expired items to decide which to relist, I noticed that my sold items were also coming up on my expired list. This caused some confusion - in fact I relisted an item that had already sold!

    The only way I could prevent them from ending up on my expired list and causing confusion between what I had available to relist, and what had already sold. was to delete my sold items. Now my 'view sold item' link on my shop shows no items at all.

    Surely the sold items…

  18. Shop Stats

    Is it possible to make the shop or item views clearer, something along the lines of Etsy?? With the current Folksy system I find it difficult to tell how many views I've had per item per day. I have set up Google analytics but do not find that particularly helpful, not very user friendly nor intuitive. Cheers.

  19. Videos option on listings please

    Not sure if this has been suggested before. But a video of our listings would be so useful. I find using videos on Instagram really attracted comments. It also shows off my work so much better than a photo. It would be great to have this option.
