Pierced earrings returns
Should have words to the the effect 'Please note that for hygiene reasons we are unable to refund pierced goods or cosmetics Unless faulty,' as how does the seller know if they've been worn? Can't re sell goods through due diligence, even online companies have this exclusion.

It would be useful if we could create a free postage code, rather than a discount code. Or even just a code that we could set the value of - a little bit like a gift voucher redeemed on Purchases.
That way we could introduce new buyers to our shops with a free postage offer - or it could be given or used for people in our local area.22 votes -
Link to Folksy interview for featured sellers.
Would it be possible for previous featured sellers to have a link to their Folksy interview where the star is presently - ?
It may help in promoting in yourself as you can share your processes etc, and people can find out more about the maker if they want to.
thanks -x-
4 votesYou can now find a link to each of the featured seller interviews on this page – https://folksy.com/featured/sellers. We agree it would also be good to link to the interviews directly from the shop page, so we’ll hopefully be able to introduce that at some point too.

API
An API would be amazing.

The ability to use CSV files for bulk uploads of new inventory.
Using a CSV file with all your data under sub headings allows you to upload all of your inventory in one upload rather than having to list all items individually and would save a ridiculous amount of time.

How do I find my 'favourites' please?
Difficult to find the favourites link (although I am using folksy via Instagram on small iPhone). Could be more obvious perhaps in your ''menu" have an obvious symbol for 'my favourites'. This might already exist. Just giving my feedback. 😂 This is an awesome website 🙌🙌 Love art myself and when I have more time in the future I'd love to get back into it x

Free Shipping option if buyer lives in your local area/vicinity
Could we have a Free Shipping option (only available to buyers who live in your immediate local area/vicinity?). You can deliver it in person @ the buyer's house once payment is received.
This would be better than buyer coming to your house.

A channel to reply to enquiries through Folksy rather than through own email. I had an enquiry from a buyer through Folksy las week w
I had an enquiry from a buyer through Folksy las week wanting to know if I could supply an item that she thought was the perfect item in time for an anniversary gift. I replied immediately. And was surprised that someone so keen did not come back so I emailed another 2 times .....apologising in case she had changed her mind and wondering if my reply had arrived.
She replied yesterday saying that she had only just seen my reply in her spam folder........she thought I had not replied and had bought elsewhere.
One, this makes me look like I…31 votes -
Search facility within listings
Hello, I have brought this up before, but it was a good while back. I really think a search facility is needed when we are managing our listings.
I currently have three pages of listings, and although archaic it is possible to use CTRL &F to try to search, but it isn't possible from a mobile.
I have closed my shop previously due to the unmanageable dashboard/clumsy workarounds, and hoped it had been resolved, especially as a decent Stats system had been recently given a facelift.
Also the option to delete/hide a listing when viewing the item would be very…

Stock identification numbers
It would be useful for us to be able to give each item we list an individual stock number when listing an item so we can easily identify which item has been sold.
For instance our seaweed themed decorations are all slightly different but very similar to look at on a photo online. I label each item here before it goes into stock but when one is sold on Folksy i have to go by the pictures to know which particular one has been ordered. Having a stock number would tell me instantly which item to go to.4 votes -
A category for leathercrafts
A category for Leather, leather crafts, tools etc.
As this is becoming a very popular craft, but there is no real provision within the categories.

Membership only by Approval
I have written to the Folksy operators to suggest that membership of Folksy should be "juried" or, perhaps a more appropriate term, "following approval". Folksy has a clear and serious problem dealing with the removal of unsuitable shops, products and applicants from the listings. This is primarily due to the easy, more-or-less-instant application process that is currently used.
Applications should include not only the person's UK address details but also a general description of the goods to be sold, along with actual images of a few products. It does mean that Folksy staff would have to manually check and approve…

Flagging when shop owners are listing something that could be potentially not allowed on Folksy
There has been a bit of a debate on the Folksy forum about some of the new shops selling items that we believe aren't allowed on Folksy. They could be items that aren't really handmade or could have been made outside the UK, they could be items that are being resold, they could be items infringing copyright etc etc.
http://talk.folksy.com/t/time-for-a-crackdown-folksy/9285/467
I'm suggesting that Folksy write something in to the computer program both to let sellers know when they are listing something that might be deemed in appropriate to sell and to trawl through all the existing listings too.

Larger area for description & bulk upload photos
When listing a product can the description area be bigger so I can see all I am writing and can I upload all my 5 photos at once instead of one at a time.
I have just joined and can add products twice as fast on my own website and three times on Esy and Eby. I love the idea of a British craft site but am dissapointed by the backend set up.
I dont really expect to get some interest in my Folksy site untill I have at least 50 products listed but at this rate it…

Make it more obvious that sellers should fill in their Profile (Meet the maker info)
Many new shops don't have the 'meet the maker' info filled in. I looked for mine just now and it took me ages to find it - it's in My Profile way down on my dashboard menu. And it is not at all obvious that the info you enter here is displayed to vistors when they click your name at the top of your shop.
Suggest that this is moved into the 'Shop Settings' page, and an explanation of how it is used to be added. Prompt people to say how long they have been crafting for, what techniques they…

May I suggest that when listing a newly crafted Item, that the Photo upload part be after the Title ,as it helps to describe if your photo is
Place photo upload part of listing, up near the top of the page,as when describing an item it helps to see the photo as well as the real thing.

HIde or Delete item from item page rather than dashboard listings
Please can we have an option to hide or delete an item from the item page rather than having to go to the dashboard listings. If a shop has several pages of items it can be hard to find the item you want to hide or delete from the dashboard.

sold items - multiple items not showing.
Would it be possible to show multiples of items sold please - at the moment if lots of people buy the same item, only the latest sale shows. Therefore it looks like you only ever sell one of each type of item.

Please can we have a change of policy?
Instead of sellers having to get hot under the collar when a new shop infringes Folksy's terms and conditions of what can be sold, wouldn't it be easier if new shops were vetted by Folksy before they were published. It would save a lot of trouble, use of the report button (does it work?) and mildly annoyed emails when we spot these things. This would also give a new seller the chance to set up their shop properly before it goes public. At present they have to publish before they can see whether it looks right and has all the…

Autocorrect feature in the search bar
Hello Folksy
I was having trouble looking for an item because I kept misspelling it, so my search was coming up with 0 results every time.I ended up googling the word in the end but most search bars correct you or make a suggestion such as ''Did you mean...'' I was wondering if we could have this as a feature in our search bar?
