As we are limited to 1500 characters for our descriptions it would make writing them much easier if we had a built in counter which would tell us how many characters we have remaining. It's a waste of time to have to copy and paste the descriptions into a word-processing document to edit it's length.20 votes
Text messages sent to your phone when you sell an item or get a message on folksy, this would improve speed of sales, and also if you buy something you could then get gentle text reminders if you do not pay / leave feedback within reasonable time. This could be a feature CHOSEN by the folksy sellers as some sellers may not want this features.14 votes
This is something that eBay has which is a good way of looking at what prices similar things to yours have sold at, so you can price your item reasonably for the buyer and you don't have to hang around for ages before realising your item is priced too expensively. Also good for buyers to find out what's a reasonable price.3 votes
Currently feedback is shown as the amount of feedback and a percentage. When the amount of feedback doesn't match the amount of sales, it does rather suggest that people weren't happy but declined to leave negative or neutral feedback.
So I suggest that the box should show Items Sold and feedback % only. Eg:
Items sold: 100
Feedback: 100% positive
Though still make it clickable so people can go and see what feedback has been left.120 votes
I'm currently setting up a new Folksy shop and have tried to put several listings as Drafts ready to list them when I'm ready. When you preview a listing your only options are to 'make changes' or 'list item'. If you just abandon it and click back to your dashboard it saves it as a draft. That's fine, it works but it seems a bit hit and miss. Plus you then need to navigate through 'manage listings', find 'Draft items' to start another.

Hello. Yes, this is an entirely sensible suggestion. We may be able to include this when we next work on the Listing screen.
I'd like to flag up charity items, and also to be able to list in several categories, as lots of my items are appropriate to at least two!10 votes
When you list or edt an item, we are taken to see item and no option to edit another without having to go back to our shop again., It would be good to be able to list another there or edit another !7 votes
A link to list another item could be added to the confirmation message and the prompt to share the item on social networks.
With Royal Mail putting up the price of stamps again (grr!) it would be good to be able to offer a choice of cheaper or faster postage depending on the buyer's needs.119 votes
This is a nice idea. The full range of postage options (1st class, 2nd class, signed-for, recorded delivery, personal collection, etc) might be a little tricky to design for though, not to mention more complicated for buyers.
We’ll have a think though and will consider what might work best.

We will be reviewing the way that feedback works in the future, and will take this situation into consideration, so that we can more accurately reflect positive buying experiences on the site.
I've been away from Folksy for quite a few months so I didn't realise that this was now added separately so it came a little bit of a shock to find that the listing feed didn't include it and was added at the checkout. I'd been in a monthly listing club so it added quite a bit to my overall bill. Thanks.9 votes
